SHIRLEY ANN BIEBER, of Sterling, former Sedgwick resident, passed away May 29, 2022, at her home.
Shirley was born February 10, 1940, at Loveland, Colorado, to Rudolph and Marie (Moore) Bieber. The family moved to Sedgwick when she was young, and she later graduated from Sedgwick High School with the class of 1958.
Shirley moved to Colorado Springs shortly thereafter, where she graduated from business school. She went to work for the El Pomar Foundation based in Colorado Springs and worked there until her retirement at the age of 65. She was dedicated and passionate about her job, viewing it as her vocation.
Shirley was measured and balanced in her ways. She enjoyed reading and was a woman of good humor. Shirley also had a way of seeking to include everyone.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred; a sister, Dixie Grasz; and a sister-in-law, Alta Bieber.
Survivors include her brother, Kenneth Bieber of Julesburg; seven nieces and nephews, Kevin, Debbey, Terry, Travis, Kylie, Troy, and Dawn; many great-nieces and nephews; along with her lifelong friend and companion through life, Shirley Barry.

Services will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 10:30 am at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Julesburg with Pastor Alan Harris officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, from 4 pm until 6 pm, at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Julesburg.
