John Keith Hessler

JOHN "KEITH" HESSLER, of Julesburg, passed away on August 4, 2024, at the Sedgwick County Nursing Home in Julesburg.

Keith was born October 4, 1941, in Sterling, Colorado. He spent the majority of his upbringing in Atwood, CO, where he attended school before graduating from Sterling High School.

On August 29, 1973, Keith married June M. Stuwe at Sterling. Their union was blessed with four children: Josh, John Jr., Jason, and Jolene. The couple lived at Atwood, where they farmed and raised their family. In 1980, they moved to Brighton, CO, where Keith drove a truck for a chemical company throughout the Denver area. In 1998, Keith and June retired to Julesburg.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dick Hessler.

Survivors include his wife, June Hessler; four children, Josh (Tina) Hessler, John Hessler Jr., Jason Hessler, and Jolene (Kevin) Davis; eight grandchildren; two siblings, Bob Hessler and Phyllis Naibauer; and many other relatives and friends.
