Wilma Kirkpatrick

December 17, 1934 — February 25, 2020

WILMA M. KIRKPATRICK, 85 of Julesburg, went home to Heaven on February 25, 2020.

Wilma was born December 17, 1934, at Garnett, Kansas, to Oscar and Veda (Slinkard) Citron. She grew up as middle child in a family of nine in logging camps mostly in the mountains of Colorado. Wilma raised her own family in Greeley and Brighton before moving to Julesburg in 1998.

Wilma lived life with great love, and that showed in everything she did. She cherished her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and relished spending time with them whenever she could. Her faith in Jesus played an integral role in the woman she was, which was why she always seemed to be filled with peace and joy. Wilma had a special place in her heart for her dogs. She also loved cooking, sewing, especially quilts, crocheting and collecting antique glass.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, her first husband Bourdette Bryant, and stepson, Earl "Bud" Bryant.

Survivors include her son, Rick Bryant of Julesburg; daughter, Pam (Jerry) Nettleton of Steamboat Springs; stepdaughter, Gayle Bryant (Bud) Phoenix, Az, Jerry Lynn (Don) Goos of Sterling; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dan and Dennis Citron; sister, Sandra Curry; along with many other treasured relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Wilma's memory for later designation by her family. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsjulesburg.com.

A family Celebration of Wilma's Life will be held at a later date.

Prairie Hills Funeral Home of Julesburg assisted the family with cremation.
